1st post from Sydney!!!

This blog is now back in business. It's been left to collect dust since the last post last year. Much has happened since, as you'd expect, and i'm now somewhere between a thousand and a million miles from home. so ladies and gents, brace yourself for a quick recap and summing up of my life from then till now.

The best thing that has happened is that I'm now officially attached! To a princess by the name of Lisa with a flower named after her, no less. Sadly though, she's over there and i'm over here, but against all odds, we're still going strong. It takes a lot of effort, but its worth it. Now, weird enough, i can't wait to get back to sg. And to think i was counting the days till i could fly away, life sure has a weird way of working.

Anw, i'm back to my studying ways and in a completely different place now. Plus, i had little to no internet connection in my early days here. So u can see why this place fell to ruins. Still, i'm back and life isn't too bad over here.

Let's start with my class shall we? 13 members, me included, now reduced to 12 sadly. After the semester exam results are out, who knows how many will be left? well, anw, based on that 13 there are: largest numbers first, 4 from Hong Kong, 3 from Korea, 2 from Indonesia and 1 each from Vietnam, Japan and last but not least, Singapore. of these, it can be split into the cliques, the 4 from Hong Kong, as can be expected, clique 2 are 1 each from korea, japan and vietnam, clique 3 are the famed M & M, and the last one are yet another multinational group with me included. Now that the base set, lets throw some names at it shall we? grp 1 comprises of Joshua, Eunice, Vivien and Jony, the last two happen to be a couple. grp 2 are Eliot, Nozumi, and Thao respectively. grp 3 are the infamous Miming and Min Young, hence the M & M tag, given by me, no less. and lastly, grp 4 are made up of Gina, Gianni and me, from Korea, Indonesia and you know where.

Right then, that's the bunch that i've been spending quite a fair bit of time with this past year. Battling to make our way into uni, hoping and praying that we'd all get what we want. math has been tough, but that's to be expected. Still, i must say, being forced to do it once more, i'm seeing it in a different light. not that i'm doing especially well and on my way to be a mathematician, far from it. but at least i'm not as lost as i was since i last did math. having said that, study now is pretty different from when i last attempted it. now, there is objective, sense and purpose. before i start sounding like some government letter, i must say that it has been a fairly good choice by me to embark on this path. i'm still kept in suspense regarding my med sch prospects, but hey, i'm hopefully one step closer.

right then, i'll leave it here for now. be sure to watch this space as more updates come along. now let's see if this gets posted right...
