This week was pretty zho bo though i still ended up getting hit by a late arrow. Turns out thursday's dbl O duty was to be done by Potato. A rare OO duty for him no less. However, he's run away totry to sign-on with the EDF, so hey...someone's gotta do the job right. In steps me...with huge "shoot me" sign plastered on my back. Right, right, enough of all that rambling. Besides that though, this whole week was pretty good. What with the track and field and all.

Teh surprising thing about the track and field though, was that though 30SCE were short staffed for this meet, and it looked like we weren't winning many events, we some how ended up winning by a mile. Maybe it's because Plant and Alpha were joint conducting? Anyways, my PC got gold in every individual event he took part in.

But that wasn't the highlight of the whole meet for us. No, no. The highlight...was this captain who seemed like he had a huge overdose of estrogen. I mean really...he looked real...happy, pun intended. He was wearing a tight-fit neon green outfit on the first day i saw him. Man was it scary, but i thought...nah forget about it. But on the final day....eeewww. He was prominetly featuring himself in pratically every event that took place. I mean...he was like everywhere. Now...he wasn't wearing neon, thank goodness. He was wearing his unit PT kit, skin tight nonetheless. And his shorts were....miniature. Maybe its because i'm straight that i'm so repulsed by this guy. Worse still, we found out that he's an ex-commando. Goodness...fortunately now he's infantry. Must have joined commandos 'cuz the RED beret looks better than all. Freaky. Now you know why i have so little confidence in this country's military, though i'm part of it.

Anyways...our imminent deployment to Aceh may never come. Now, it seems that the work's done and they want us to pull out. Fine, whatever. But what we're hearing is that there still remains a "high chance" down from the "confirm go" of last week. But training on the APB still goes on. From what i'm seeing, the chance is about 50-50 for now. Relief efforts are not needed, so most of the guys can come back. Now it's down to reconstruction, so that's where we come in. As for me? I wanna go !!! It's a once in a lifetime chance. Plus, you finally put all that dumb training to good use. Why not?
