Had AAR for the AHM yesterday and it was crap, pure crap. It was pointless, though it was nice for the officers to admit that our workload was much heavier than usual and we pulled off many miracles during this AHM. Nonetheless, you could sense the boredom of the men, and the tension between the specs and the officers. All i can say is that, the root of the problem lies in the extremely high staff turnover rate of the SAF, there, problem presented, solution has already been given, and we're living with it. Anyway, i still feel that the next AHM organisers should see only these 2 words: GOOD LUCK!...you'll need truckloads, trust me.

Anyway, on a brighter note, had almost half day off today to kick start our extremely long weekend by heading out for a medical appointment. Turns out my backs improved so much they've decided to discharge me. Well that's fine with me till i need them again.

Anyhow, caught New Police Story with most of the platoon today. Needless to say, you can leave most of your brain at home when watching this kind of shows. Guns here never IA or run out of bullets. Bullets on the other hand have a bias to the storyline when seeking or intentionally missing targets. Story was predictable as hell, and the action's perpetual. But the bombs, the bombs i can't get over. Having personally experienced bombs, and having had my hand in blowing up at least $14,000 worth, i dare say that the bomb effects were fake as fake can be. Dramatic yes, but 0 points for realism. I mean, come on, one of the biggest kicks of doing explosives is the actual kick you get, the superb shockwaves. Sublime, out-of-this-world, the bigger the better. But what was shown in the show was absolutely ridiculous. So no matter what, i still maintain that bombs haven't been done justice in movies, ever. Right, crapping again.

Right, with my drive for getting a girlfriend coming to nowhere, a new drive has now taken place, running concurrently. The drive to become a millionaire. Why? Because i want to and can be one. Soon. But seriously it's cause i want to earn that much to pay my way through college and live comfortably at the same time. Whether that can be done remains to be seen, but i definitely do hope so. A million quid in cold hard cash can do minor miracles in most ordinary days, and i definitely don't mind doing that.
