First from captivity....

Amazing...there are finally computers linked to the outside world, and they are based in army camps. Fabulous...i'm speechless....i never thought that the army would have enough sense to purchase computers, let alone allow us to use them... Ok, ok enough army bashing for now.

Somehow i just feel that after this I-Net thingie has been opened for so long, i should come use it a little more often, and update my blog a little more regularly now, to save Ruth and whoever-else-reads-my-blog the pain of having to go through really long entries.

Well then, had a doc's appointment today and i wasted like 1 & 1/2 hrs in the damned waiting room. Sure, doc's are busy, but i'd understand if you're a surgeon...but he was not...well then anyway, let's be more sympathetic since that's the faternity that i want to join in the not-so-far yet not-so-near future. Besides, i know i'll definitely be more compassionate and definitely way more understanding the moment i become a doctor and start my housemanship. From what i currently know, SGH housemen are the zombies with the stethoscopes. NUH are not that much better, but at TTSH i don't see any. Well if i make it, i hope to intern at a cardiac medical centre...cuz home is where the heart is.

Fine, enough of crappy jokes already. Yesterday was a whole different story altogether. We spent most of the day nua-ing cuz of the beautiful weather. Yes, if you still don't know, lighting storms are the possible weather a NSF can encounter, 'cept on book-out days of course. Well then, with the day's training program very much washed down the drain by the rain, i spent most of the day reading about and actually understanding Einstein's theory of realitivity. Along with that came Newtonian physics, special relativity, gravity, blah blah blah. It was only yesterday that i knew that its been 100 years since Einstein's ideas on the universe were published. It was also then that i knew how simple Einstein's theories were, simplicity till the point on absurd complexity. Ok, i'm making myself look like an idiot here. Anyway's caught Dodgeball during nights off with David, Lawrence and Wei Liang. Not bad show...and yet all that the rest of them were raving about all night was how pretty and sweet looking Ben Stiller's wife was. Right guys will be guys and me will be me. Ok then, lets end it here before it stretches too long and Ruth starts complaining again.
